ABOUT HOP
HOP Hub of Photography is a contemporary photography platform dedicated to advancing the photography scene in Thailand through exhibitions, learning programmes, and community engagement.
Founded in 2022, HOP was established on the belief that photography plays a vital role across art, culture, and everyday life—yet Thailand still lacks a dedicated ecosystem that can sustainably support its growth.
HOP did not begin as a space, but as a question:
What is missing from Thailand’s photography landscape, and what kind of platform can meaningfully support it?
From this foundation, HOP has developed into an integrated platform that connects exhibitions, learning, and community, alongside photobook culture and public programmes—serving as a point of connection between artists, audiences, and opportunities for growth.
Located within MMAD at MunMun Srinakarin, HOP expands access to contemporary art for diverse audiences. The platform is supported by Seacon Square Srinakarin, whose role has been instrumental in enabling HOP’s establishment and continued development.
Beyond its physical space, HOP extends its reach through ongoing programmes, including university talks, collaborations with galleries and art organisations, and connections with regional and international networks.
In terms of communication, HOP provides comprehensive support to artists and projects through its online and social media channels—expanding visibility, increasing accessibility, and connecting works to broader audiences.
HOP also affirms the importance of physical space as a site for experience, encounter, and meaningful exchange—elements that cannot be fully replicated in digital environments. It remains a vital space for artistic freedom beyond the limitations of online platforms.

FOUNDERS
HOP Hub of Photography was founded in 2022 by Tom Potisit, Sirima Chaipreechawit, and Marisa Roongroj, with a shared vision to develop a platform that responds to the needs of Thailand’s photography community.
The founders established HOP as a “Hub of Photography”—a centre that connects key elements of the field, from conceptual direction and platform development to spatial experience and community building.
Today, HOP operates under the direction of Tom Potisit, who leads the organisation’s vision, programme development, and partnerships at both national and international levels.
HOP remains grounded in its founding intention: not only to present work, but to actively support artists and sustain the growth of the photography community.

Tom Potisit
Director
A photographic artist, creative practitioner, and co-founder of HOP Hub of Photography, Tom Potisit leads the organisation’s overall vision and strategic direction.
He oversees programme development, partnerships, and the positioning of HOP within the contemporary photography landscape in Thailand and internationally. His goal is to develop HOP as a platform that supports artists, connects communities, and creates new opportunities for Thailand’s contemporary art scene.
Thotsateap Tata
Lead of Operations
Thotsateap Tata plays a key role in managing HOP CLUB, Exhibitions, public programmes and educational activities with experience in exhibition and workshop management.
He coordinates closely with artists, partners, and audiences to ensure the smooth delivery of HOP programmes. His work helps foster an open, accessible, and engaging environment that supports learning and strengthens the photography community.
Thiti Teeraworawit
Lead of Exhibition and Gallery
A curator, exhibition designer, and production manager, Thiti Theeravoravit oversees the development of HOP’s exhibitions from both conceptual and spatial design perspectives. He is committed to creating meaningful exhibition experiences that respond to the content and context of each project, while working closely with artists and curators to continuously elevate HOP’s exhibition standards.
