The collected works of photographer Ekkapon “Ken” Panpat, capturing the many colorful dimensions he experienced on his travels. The riveting life stories of those around him are immortalized within the square frames of a photograph, the vibrancy of life as told by the colorful surroundings, infused with energy, and the exchange of moments within each others’ lives through a greeting; all these things are catalysts for the creation of human relationships in the future.
In this work, the artist relies on the natural instincts of eyesight, enhanced by the colorful style that signifies Ekkapon’s works. Come experience this experimental and limitless method of photography through the artist’s travels. Some may be unfocused, while some are crystal clear, but all of them still live on happily within our emotions.
About the Artist
Ken Ekkapon Panpat
Having completed his Undergraduate and Masters degrees from the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, Ken first took up photography in 2000 out of his love and passion for the color of film. His preferred styles are Street and Candid, creating colorful digital or film images.
Between the years 2010-2019, Ekkapon worked as a flight attendant, giving him the opportunity to travel around the world, which was when he rediscovered his passion for photography, amassing a collection throughout that 9 year period of traveling, creating a photobook out of them. Many of his photos aim to capture a moment, with particular attention paid to color and symbolic composition. In the year 2019, Ekkapon opened his own cafe and gallery under the name “House of Nowhere”. Today, Ekkapon works as an independent photographer shooting candid photos for weddings, fashion, and music events, living his best life while regularly producing new works.
